    The Scorcher at Chestnut Ridge has more kid-friendly racing options for all skill levels. The courses range from the easy balance biker lollipop to the 5.4-mile single-track technical course with elevation changes for more advanced riders.  There’s even a pump track to crank up the fun factor for all.  Take your experience from the summer and build on it!

    Riders must register to participate. The registration window is April 1 through midnight on the Wednesday before the race.

    Team captains will host a pre-ride on Saturday August 2nd. 

    Consider joining us for set up from 11:30am to 3pm and then ride the course with you rider.  

    • Balance bikers/pedals 3y to 4y : 2:30pm
    • Novice 5y- 6y: 2:45pm
    • Novice 7y +: 3:00pm
    • Advanced 1 and 2 lap: 3:20pm

    Please prepare to ride with your racers for the pre-ride, as needed.

    Bring water as there is no drinking water available at Chestnut Ridge Mountain Bike area.

    • Water is NOT available onsite. Be sure to bring plenty of hydration for both your race AND your spectators
    • Bring your popup tent. There is very little shade at Chestnut Ridge
